Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Leonardo Hotel Galway is praised for its fabulous location right at the end of the main pedestrian area, near the Latin Quarter, with great pubs offering live music. Guests often highlight the modern, clean, and spacious rooms, with comfortable beds, sometimes mentioning lovely river views and available amenities like a safe and fridge. While generally appreciated, some guests have found the rooms a bit cluttered with too much furniture. The convenience of having parking right next to the hotel is another frequently mentioned plus.

central stay review

central locationquiet roomwater policy
the complimentary breakfast was a definite plus. its central location allowed easy access to nearby restaurants and bars. the room was comfortable and quiet. the restful sleep was appreciated after exploring.
during my stay, i noticed the absence of refreshed water bottles after the initial supply. i found this policy a bit odd and inexpensive. it would add value to provide replenished water.
Dining
9/10
the hotel offered a breakfast with fresh bread and a fine selection. the bar also served soup. i found it to be tasty and convenient after a day of sightseeing, this provided good value.
Facilities
8/10
The rooms had nicely proportioned, lovely decor. This enhanced my stay. the staff were friendly, helpful and caring! the hotel looked to be undergoing some decorating? i noticed this was in progress.
Location
10/10
the hotel is wonderfully located, right in the center. the hotel is close to many shops and pubs! its proximity made it easy to explore local attractions, and the access was particularly convenient.

fantastic stay!

convenient locationadjoining car parkmodern roomsmall room
i found the location convenient. the car park was conveniently adjoining the hotel. we asked the receptionist if we could leave our bags until check in, and to our delight, we were offered our room there and then. the room was clean and modern.
The executive rooms are disappointingly small. I would not upgrade again.

the hotel is in a great central spot, close to many attractions. i could easily walk to shops and restaurants. my room had a really nice view of the river too. it really added to the experience.
the pillows were not great, i didn't find them very comfortable. the breakfast was okay, but there weren't many vegetarian options. also, i found that the bathroom was quite small.
